  • ABOUT THE CLEAR PROP LIMITED EDITION

Not much was known about the collection until it was stumbled upon by a contact of the publisher. Now made available for the first time in this limited edition format, we are honoured to present the collection in all its carefully reproduced glory showing the photographic plates and prints the way they would have been seen in their time.

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER. E. J. Riding spent his working life in the aviation industry. Apprenticed to A. V. Roe & Company as aircraft engineer. During the war Riding became an AID Inspector seconded to Fairey Aviation, London Aircraft Production and the de Havilland Aircraft Company; signing out Halifax bombers and Mosquitoes as airworthy. Sadly, Riding was killed in a flying accident in 1950.
