P-51D Mustang Training Manuals shipping now.

When it first became publically available, the P-51D Training Manual was such poor quality, some pages looked like photocopies and were only able to be ordered as very poor quality PDF's on a CD ROM. A large number of the same version became available on the web that were so bad some of the pages looked like fax copies.

 

We got in touch with a number of pilots and colleagues and we began to pull in some original pages. We then retouched every piece of text and page, working on every picture and, where there was precious little to go on, we even recreated instrument clusters, drawings, plans or layouts.

 

Then we gathered together the content and, using an expert in the field,

we recreated the paper look and colour so we could reproduce the manual as close to a rough and ready, finished version but then added something rather special. An optional, protective, leather-look cover and case.

 

A new P-51D Training Manual was born. We hope to continue with other 'worn and tired' older masters and restore them from archives and editions.
